At 55 years old, Scott Alan Tomc died passing away peacefully and peaceful manner on the Sunday of October 2, 2022 on the 2nd of October, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital located in Kansas City, Missouri. On the 30th of January 1967 located in Kansas City, Kansas, Scott was born to parents Daniel Tomc and Karen Tomc. He finished high school studies in St. Pius X and earned his diploma in 1985. On August 14 in 1993 it was the day he got married to Lynn Laudel Tomc. He spent the majority of his career as a salesperson in diverse industries and demonstrated the ability to sell almost anything , and leave an imprint impression on anyone that he met. Scott Tomc enjoyed a wide assortment of things and his favourite was certainly making others laugh.

Scott was survived by his spouse, Lynn as well as his sons, Kyle (who has been engaged to Lizzie) and Marianna as well as his parents Dan as well as Karen Tomc; his siblings Melanie (who is married to Kent), Bernie, Kevin (who is married to Liz) and Kimberlie and a huge number of relatives and nieces and nephews. Scott was an affectionate husband and father.

Gregory Scott Salyer, who was 59 and resided at Ashland, Kentucky, died at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital on April 1, 2010. The man was born in Ashland on the 15th of May 1950. His parents, Claude B. “Buddy” Salyer and Doris Wahneitta “Nita” Scott Salyer Both died before his birth. The brother of his Phillip Alan Salyer also died prior to him in 2009. He was the director of Home Management Services for 23 years as the proprietor and manager. He was a part of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). His graduation from Paul G. Blazer High School in 1968, and was a varsity basketball player. Then he attended Ashland Community College and the University of Kentucky.

He was awarded the first Joe Franklin Memorial Scholarship and was a big supporter of the Tomcats. He was president of the American Little League and the Junior Football League, and it was due to his work that Ashland’s very first evening Little League game was held. Greg contributed to the building of Ashland’s Ashland Tomcat Baseball Field with his brothers to honor their father. Greg will be remembered for his love of family, husband and father. He was also a brother “Big Daddy” to his grandchildren as well as “Huggie Bear” to his family and friends.

The Salyer family is survived him by his beloved partner of more than 38 years Cheryl Mims Salyer of Ashland and Salyer’s sons Wesley Alan Salyer of Mobile, Ala., and Chadwick Scott (Jonda) Salyer of Pikeville, Ky.; a brother, Brian Wesley (Sherry) Salyer of Ashland and two grandchildren, Austin Gregory Salyer and Anna Marie Salyer; a niece, Kelly Jo Hoormann of Nashville, Tenn.; nephews, Bradley Scott Sal.
