Michael Ducan Stewart has sadly and unexpectedly died, leaving family, friends, and family members in complete devastation and grief. Friends and family members were devastated by the news that Michael had died.
Michael Ducan Stewart of Lookout Mountain He was 61 years old. Following a lengthy illness, he died on October 12, 2022, at the age of 82, at Emory Hospital. He was loved by all and is missed by many.
Mike graduated from Fannin County High School in Blue Ridge, Ga., after which he attended Mercer University, graduating with a dual degree of Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science.
After being employed as an adult probation official in the state of Georgia, Mike joined the U.S. Army in 1986, seeking an even more rewarding career.
In addition to his basic training, Mike also successfully completed Officer Candidate School, the Infantry Officer’s Basic Course, Airborne School, and the highly-regarded U.S. Army Ranger School.
Later, he was stationed at Erlangen, Germany, as part of the 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, as well as at Fort Carson, CO, as part of the 4th Infantry Division. He was part of the U.S. Army Golf Team.
Mike was then released from his position in the Army to pursue an opportunity in the golf industry . He became the Head of Golf at The Broadmoor Resort and Golf Club in Colorado Springs.
The cause of death for Michael Ducan Stewart has not been released to the public. We will announce the cause of death when we can get more information about the cause of death. We ask that God will give those grieving this loss the determination and strength to go on.
