Josh Ciocco was born in the United States on November 15, 1983. Josh Ciocco played and coached hockey. In the past, he played as a player in tournaments like the NCAA tournament. Ciocco worked as an assistant coach for Brown University, the University of Alaska Anchorage and Brown University. In 2007, he was a graduate of his school, the University of New Hampshire, with an honors degree in political science. Josh graduated from UNH in 2007 with an MBA. After the news went viral of her death on the 4th of October 2022 at 38 years old, he began to trend on Google.

Ciocco moved into teaching after completing a full season of professional hockey. When Alaska Anchorage was founded, Ciocco was hired as an assistant coach. Between 2013 and 2014, the Seawolves were able to secure their only winning D-I conference record of the year. Ciocco played three seasons at Anchorage before moving back to the east, where he spent two years working as the Browns’ assistant coach. Following the Brown assistant coach position, Ciocco relocated to Merrimack and was the Warriors’ assistant coach for the duration of five years.

He worked as an assistant coach for the men’s hockey team. It also states that prior to his death, the coach was seeking out outstanding students to join the team.

While Ciocco was not a prolific scorer at the college level, he made some impact in his role as a clever two-way forward in different ways. In his senior year, during the time that New Hampshire won the Hockey East regular season championship, Ciocco was the captain of the Wildcats.
