Our team is devastated to discover the death of Jacob Jeske. Jacob played 158 games as a Red Wing from 2013-16. Red Wing from 2013-16 before transitioning into NCAA Div III with Northland College however, as a person, he will be remembered for being one of the funniest and best teammates #WeyburnRedWings#SJHL
Jack is a normal, hardworking 33-year-old who is fond of sports, hunting , and being with friends, family, and pet Hoyt. However, his world was turned upside-down when the pancreas was discovered to be a source of cancer, which is a rare disease that only fifty people aged 30 and older are diagnosed with every year. Jake is currently receiving chemotherapy to beat the cancer. He is also undergoing Whipple surgery, which is a difficult process that can save his life. Jack was able to live an active and healthy life while fighting this rare type of cancer. The story of Jake’s reminds us of how quickly our lives can alter. We ask you to help us pay Jake’s medical bills that continue to mount.
